Halloweekends At Cedar Point 2023
We finally made it to the world’s roller coaster capital, Cedar Point, this year for their famous Halloweekends feast. This is one of the best times of the year to experience the park, that is, if you are a Halloween fan. Here are some Cedar Point Halloween weekend photos and content in regard to our trip to Cedar Point this September.
What is Cedar Points Halloweekends?
Cedar Point’s HalloWeekends is a much-anticipated annual event that transforms the renowned amusement park into a haven of Halloween festivities. As autumn leaves fall, the park, located in Sandusky, Ohio, takes on a spooky yet enchanting ambiance, catering to thrill-seekers and families alike.
By day, the Great Pumpkin Fest delights younger guests with kid-friendly activities, costumed characters, and whimsical Halloween-themed shows. But as night descends, the park’s darker side emerges with the Haunt, where brave souls can venture into haunted houses, scare zones, and witness eerie live performances. The juxtaposition of exhilarating roller coasters and chilling Halloween attractions makes HalloWeekends a unique and unforgettable experience, drawing visitors from all over to celebrate the spooky season. It is one of the best halloween theme parks in the United States.
What are the Hours for Halloweekends?
The hours will vary as the park is not open for most of the weekdays. They open on Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays 11 am – 12pm. Please visit cedarpoint.com for more info on actual fall hours during this event.
How Busy is Cedar Point During Halloweekends?
These festivities are pretty popular, so expect there to be heavy crowds, especially toward 6 pm and later. We found the park to be bustling on every trip we have made during the Halloween activities in the park.
Saturdays are typically the busiest days during HalloWeekends. The combination of Halloween attractions and the park’s regular offerings makes it a prime destination. Sundays can be slightly less crowded than Saturdays, especially in the morning, but they still see many visitors.
Friday evenings can also be busy, especially as it gets closer to Halloween. However, they might be slightly less crowded than Saturdays.
Like any outdoor event, weather plays a significant role. Mild, clear autumn days, especially in early to mid-October, can be particularly busy. Conversely, if the forecast predicts rain or colder temperatures, it might deter some visitors, leading to lighter crowds.
As you get closer to Halloween, the park gets busier, especially on the last couple of weekends before the holiday.
