Optimus Prime is one of my favorite Transformers, so when I found out I could actually see him and meet the fictional character I was super excited. You don’t get many opportunities to see a Character like this one, so needless to say this was an excited opportunity for me.
Before I arrived I was a little curious to how Universal Studio’s was going to portray this Alien beast to which is suppose to look like a giant mechanical figure that is transformed from a semi truck. I had questions.
How Were They Going To Pull This One Off And Make Optimus Prime Seem Authentic?
Upon arriving to Universal Studios Florida, I was super excited to make my way into the alley next to the Transformers 3D ride to see if was lucky enough to catch Optimus Prime. Sure enough, I was. I got there just in time to meet and Greet the Giant Transformer.
I was a little surprised at the visual appearance of Optimus Prime. The costume they had was very visually appealing and very detailed. The thing that struck me the most was the size, they did make the character bigger than life. I would say Universal Studio’s nailed this one.
