It is no secret that California’s Disneyland has faced a difficult time in the last year and has been closed for most of 2020. The States strict lockdown guidelines have made a negative impact on the operation of the park as it has with many businesses across the United States.
And now we are learning that Disneyland is now ending its annual pass program.
The park has been shut down for over 10 months and doesn’t look like it will open anytime soon. There are rumors around the web that claim that the park will be a Covid Testing site for the area.
I’ve heard grumblings by annual pass holders who live in the area, some of whom are frustrated and disappointed the park remains closed. It is also frustrating when other theme parks and Disney parks have remained open throughout the pandemic.
In my opinion, which is of my own, the shutdown is a little overkill. Parks have initiated safety protocols all across the United States and have provided a safe place for park visitors to enjoy some fun things during this difficult time.
It is what it is, there is nothing we can do about it as the States have taken this a little overboard in my opinion. I don’t believe in shutdowns, because people can been innovative and make places safe for visitors.
