Cedar Point has removed its reservation policy for the time being. You will no longer need to make a reservation to enter the park. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is a good thing however we’re still wondering if that will be enough to bring more people to the park. We are still in the middle of a pandemic and daily cases of Covid-19 are rising in many different regions across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Obviously, there is a risk when you mingle in places were people will crowd and of course touch a lot of the same things you will be touching. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A theme park just seems like a germ factory and one would think it would be a breeding ground for Covid. However, so far, that has not been the case. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The park reportedly has had only 3 employees test positive for Covid-19, but that was before the park even opened. So far I have not seen any reported cases since. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
With Reservations no longer needed, you must however purchase your tickets and season passes online before coming to the park. It looks like this is the only way to get a ticket at this time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cedar Point is also requiring one person in the group have a the parks mobile app on their phone. I don’t have anymore information on to why this is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are reports that people are saying online that face masks are no longer required at the Park. To be safe, I would bring a mask, chances are those are just rumors. And if they do require the mask you won’t have to leave to go get one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Depending on the amount of people showing up, you should expect a slower process to get into the park. All guests will be required to have health screenings and temperature checks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cedar Point has added hand sanitizing stations all over the park. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
For you to stay informed Use of location services in the app allows Cedar Point to send you real time updates just in case there is an emergency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
