Cedar Fair has announced as of October 3, 2020 visitors must make reservations before visiting Cedar Point. This new requirement is expected to last through November 1st, 2020, which is usually when the park will close for the season.

It is no secret that Halloween is one of the busiest times of the year for Cedar Point. At one point a year ago, the park was so busy during their traditional Halloween weekends, that block traffic all the way into Sandusky.

We at one point tried to get into the park on one of it’s busiest days and never made it close to the park at all. We went all over the entry points and couldn’t get close.

This year Halloweekends isn’t happening but they are having a family friendly Tricks & Treats Fall Fest. Even so as we come closer to Halloween and if nice weather happens during their remaining weekends they could very well get a flood of new visitors.

This may prevent those overcrowding situation from occurring even though the pandemic has done a pretty good job at limiting people at the park this year.
