A Cheaper Way To Rent Mobility Scooters For Disney, Universal Studio’s & Orlando Parks…

Because of my occupation, my health issues, and my weight, I do have problems walking. My legs will cramp up badly and my thighs will give out and then I’m done, I’m immobile.

Although these issues suck, I won’t let it destroy my opportunity to enjoy something I love so much, theme parks. So I use to rent mobility scooters at the park to help me get through the day and the park.

I know there are many people of all ages and conditions in the same situation as me. This should NOT prevent you from going to any theme park and push you away from enjoying a vacation with your family. Mobility scooters and wheelchairs offer you the opportunity to enjoy the parks just as anyone else would

The Problem: They Cost So Much In The Park…

If you do not own your own mobility scooter, renting at the park can be an option. The problem is that for most people, when you go to Disney World and Universal Studios, you are going for multiple days which can get really expensive if you are ordering your scooters from the park. Rental each day can cost anywhere from $60 – $125 a day to rent a mobility scooter.

That is a lot of money. For most people that is just not very affordable. And it’s crazy to pay that kind of money. This was a problem that I ran into on my last trip to Orlando. I needed to find a different solution.

After doing my research I found there were a ton of different mobility scooter rental companies in the Orlando, Area. I compared pricing and found a company that offered exactly what I needed at a price that I was comfortable with. I called Big Orange Mobility.

I needed a model that would break down, go into the trunk of a car, and hold 350 lbs of weight. They had exactly what I needed and I rented it for just over 7 days for around $250.

They dropped it off at my hotel and picked it up when I was done. The process was easy and the cart was great. I had no issues with it and the charge was fantastic. I could of went all day on it.

So let this be an option for you on your next trip to Orlando. Check out Big Orange Mobility or any of the other Mobility scooter rental places in the Orlando area. There is a ton of them who will bring the scooter to you and pick it up anywhere. Also compare prices, not all are the same.

Hope this helps get you more mobile in the parks or a love one. Any reviews of any local companies in Orlando can be left in the comments or send us a review of a company so that we can share with our readers.

Update: Since we are constantly at theme parks, I decided to make the leap and purchase a couple of scooters for us to use at the parks. In the long run the amount of money I’m saving is well worth the price. So if you can afford it and know you can use it, look into purchasing one. I’ll have an article on the cart I purchased in the future on this site.
